probably more 3.5 stars.It took me a bit to get into this one... the "teen vocabulary" was way over the top for me. Any time she said "boobies" or "poopie", I was taken right out of the story and left boggling at who would really say those words in a non-joking manner. Pair those childish words with some of the more adult subject matters in this book (talking about blow-jobs and kids getting pregnant young, and sluts, etc) and I was left confused as to who the audience of this book was supposed to be. It's too adult for teens, but too teen for adults?
But overall I started getting into the story more as it went on, and I'm actually excited to read the rest of the series and find out what happens! I will NOT be listening to it in audio book format any more though.. the narrator was incredibly annoying to me.
